Chase Freedom Footloose Commercial

The newest Chase commercial features its spokesperson, Ben Grant, popping up in everyday situations where people are earning cash back. The actor who plays Ben Grant is Michael Torpey. Visually memorable, the black and white commercial highlights the signature blue color of Chase. Seen playing his blue guitar in various places, Ben appears at a grocery store, at the barbershop, a hardware store, retail store, and a diner. The diverse locations drive home the point that there are various places to earn cash back when you use your Chase Freedom card.

Below, you can see some of these various places. While at the retail store, Ben pops in on a woman with natural hair shopping for pants.

But if you read the comments on Chase’s YouTube page, reactions to this commercial are mixed. Some believe that it’s annoying while others love it. What’s your opinion?
