It offers many situations where you would need the services of a bank, from buying a home, to starting a savings account.
And if you’re used to a bank that charges you to keep your money with them, you might want to consider switching to one with free checking. #callmefrugal. I’ve had a credit union account for over 15 years, and I love that they don’t charge me for checking.
