No words…..except, it’s happened again. Back in July, another woman with natural hair was searched by TSA. Yet again, we have a woman with natural “big” hair being stopped for suspicion of explosives, etc in an airport. Click HERE for the video Why has this happened again?
So…here we go again. Newport news has yet another ad in Essence with a natural hair model. Like the last ad, the couple is not shown smoking. Again, I wonder… Is this advertisement negative? And if so, can an ad become negative because of the type of product being advertised? On another random note, I was in Cancun recently …Read more »
Although I can’t say I love love love the Weight Watchers commercials with Jennifer Hudson in them, I do like some of the other commercials for Weight Watchers. The commercials are a little extra for me. But I guess they serve their purpose. I especially love the other commercials featuring the model with the beautiful locs. I’ve seen both a …Read more »

The accompanying photo spread is called Nightie Aphrodites: How to pull off a heartbreakingly romantic evening gown? Just Use Your Head. It features celebrities (i.e. Corrinne Bailey Rae, Solange Knowles, and Les Nubians) …Read more »
Earlier, I told you about a Summer’s Eve campaign featuring three talking vaginas (one black, one Latina, and one White). It was part of their new “Hail to the V” campaign. Many agree that this advertisement missed the mark. Fast forward. Summer’s Eve has a new campaign featuring different civilizations and, you guessed it: an actor with natural hair. Here’s …Read more »
